Pre-tax profit rose by a third to £1.1million on revenues up 13 per cent to £49.2million, helped by a string of successful releases such as Khaled Hosseini’s And The Mountains Echoed.
Boss Nigel Newton said Bloomsbury stands to benefit from a rush to buy textbooks at the start of the university year.
